FREE WORKSHOP | Who Has the Power—Me or My Digital Device?

  • Whidbey Island Waldorf School 6335 Old Pietila Rd Clinton, WA 98236 United States (map)

An Exploration Through the Arts

Theme: To explore how digital screens and social media influence our lives, our childrens' lives and our relationships.

During our time together, we will explore how social media and digital screens affect daily living and what it takes to “unplug” from then in our daily lives.

We will look at these topics through the lenses of movement, drawing and writing, in the hopes of gaining new insights and ideas about how we want to interface with this world of technology, a world that poses many challenges for us as both individuals and parents.

ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! This workshop is being offered free of charge.

Please bring a bottle of water and a snack for break time.

Please Join Me in Launching this Workshop!

ON A PERSONAL NOTE
I believe that using this arts and embodiment work is a profound way of exploring our challenges and gaining insights. My final project as a student at the Tamalpa Institute is to create avenues for facilitating the work. I have been exploring the specific content and theme of this workshop for a number of years, and I’m excited to be making it, and my new practice working with individuals and groups, a reality!
