I participated in, “Girls on the Move”, a cross-country bicycle trip which was a national project of Outward Bound to raise awareness around empowerment for girls and women. I cycled and worked as one of the staff Sign Language interpreters for a Deaf rider. We biked from Portland, OR to NYC and ended at the Twin Towers in November 2000.

Bella Lewitsky:

“To move freely, you must be deeply rooted”

Marta Mulholland

“The most important work you will ever do is to call forth your best self.”

“I believe that human beings long for connection, belonging, and acceptance; to be seen for who they really are.

“I imagine I’m on the brink, on the edge ~ so close ~ I breathe and open to possibilities of my own power. No longer caught and held in the agendas of others.

~No longer stuck in comparisons

~No longer stalled by regrets

No longer holding . . . back. No longer holding back.

I breathe and open to possibilities . . .”
